Ummmm…not a whole lot of people will accept 13 year olds to do anything…trust me i’ve looked. So I would say no.

WTF No, You have to be legal to apply for jobs (which is 15 years old) and do you even know what they do. They have to play the whole game and scout every where in the game so that there is no glitches etc…….. and you wouldn’t even get to play the M rated games and barely be able to play T games.

I have been doing some investigation into this and it seems you have to be older, like probably 18. Which is crazy because you can buy and play games at 13, why can’t you test them!

sorry guys unfortunately you have to be 18 to be a legal videogame tester I know because I’m 15 and I did a lot of searching and researching
i doubt you can get a job as a video game tester at the age of 13 but if you are 15 or 16 you probably could but you wont get payd that much. it dowent matter on how old you are on the amount of money you get for this job. it matters on how long you have been doing game testing.
if you guys want to get real facts on how old you have to be to test games just call a gameing company like bungie and ask how old you have to be to test their games (you can get a number on their web sight)

lol nope idk think u could get a job yet bro but if ur like 13 or15 just wait u still live with ur parents and crap i think you could wait till ur 17 or 18 to get a job but make sure before gettin that job to be ready for that experince couse my big bro is a video game tester he was one of the first ones to test out call of duty modern warefare2 and for doin a good job they even gave him the game before it was out

Hello I just turned 17 and I’m looking for a game testing job and I was wondering if there would be any opportunities for me or do I have to wait another year cuz I also want a cross company game tester job if there is one where I test multiple companies like ubisoft and capcom and others in one job can anyone help
You have to be at least 17. I am also 13, but video game testing jobs have different rules. You can’t be 15 or 16. You have to be mature and trustworthy, so at least 17.
